Our world has gone high-tech. And so have child predators. According to research, 1 in 5 teenagers have received an unwanted sexual solicitation online. These predators prey on the millions of children who go online everyday to do their homework or chat with friends. Online predators are smart, motivated and technically savvy. That is why the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force teamed up with Shaquille ONeal and created the Shaq Shield.

About the Ohio ICAC Task Force

Established in 2000, the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force is a U.S. Department of Justice funded program. The Ohio ICAC is a collaboration of city, county, state and federal law enforcement agencies across Ohio dedicated to protecting our children from child predators on the Internet. Our mission is to identify and prosecute individuals who use the Internet to lure minors into illicit sexual relationships or produce, distribute or solicit child pornography online.
